Race 2 At Hawthorne Today- No Inquiry? Really?

Would somebody look at race 2 at Hawthorne today and tell me I'm not crazy? Is there any reason anyone can see as to why there was no inquiry or objection in this race? Yes, the #8 horse comes in but never touches the #6. #8 establishes his path and then just gets hammered by the #6, getting carried out at least three paths. The race was decided by a nose. What gives?

Didn't see the race. But the winner was owned by Calabrese - he gets away with things.

I will try to find the race replay of a horse that was wrongly DQd and FCC was put on top. People still talk about it, was from 5-6 years ago at HAW.

I saw only a very slight bump by the #6 on the #8 and the jock straightened the horse out immediately. I don't see the #6 getting carried out 3 paths like you say. The fact that Alex Canachari didn't even object says alot about the situation.

I watched the replay again too..agree with Striker..a slight bump but not enough there to warrant a dq.

My take on it that the time the six was pushing the eight out, the eight lost gorward momentum. I would think at the very least in such a tight race, i would be worth a look.
