thing is. after knicks go its a crap shoot. sure pletcher can improve but is the horse really a lock to finish itm?..my guess it that he finishes 3rd
but if knicks go wins by 5-10L you might get a couple long shots underneath

Of course not, he’s going to be 6/5.
His works look like he’s keyed up. With some speed signed on in here, the pace could collapse.
I’m going to make a small play against.

Derserves to be the fave, but as others have pointed out, that possible pace situation might be bad
I'm actually not in love with the replays I watched but logical for next
Nothing to really elaborate on this horse or the next, just find them curious but with something around 6/1, 7/1.

Knicks Go was a great bet-against last time. Comical price. Wide post with a hot pace projection. Then the slop and the actual hot pace worked against him...
Today he's a fair price.
I think the price on the today is a joke. I could be wrong but I'll bet against him finishing in the top 4.
I'll also throw out the , who broke on top and failed to win a 6f race at LRL.
, , , are all nice big prices, and I'm biased to like the 's 1M LRL race last time
keeping it simple;
dime Super / / / = $6.80
$20 win on
= $26.80

Geez, I didnt even bother to watch the replays as I just didnt think it would get the lead from that post. Just thought he might keep the pace on Knicks Go hot.
Blinkers on....1st in prime power....

had those impossible paces (iirc) in the last two? races, so he was definitely impossible to eliminate here today. Also running for a top barn.
I didn't/couldn't bet the horse on top for any reasons other than price and non-eliminated.
Maybe if I had sharp opinions in the pick-3 or something, I would have spread to include ... but I just said "Hey, Knicks Go is a default winner here" and kind of expected a flip flop in their performance...
took money and he did some running off the pace, while the seemed to get loose up front.
The Twinspires graphics are only slightly worse than some of the cartridges for the old ATARI2600 games in the '80s, So I'm hoping to see this on YOUTUBE. You already have to 'mute' the Tampa feed to block the announcer, and then you're seeing these 'pixels'... I think I just blew my own high.
Initial thoughts/biased-opinions are maybe the is decent, and I don't trust the to be router in the better 3yo stakes races going forward.

Never liked Knicks Go but I never would have had the 9. While facing tougher paces he always felt a cut below top tier, which makes me question if anything out of this field should be looked at going forward in tough races.

Tampa is a quirky track and some of these are likely to bounce back at decent odds elsewhere otherwise I saw nothing I'd throw money at in the Derby future pool. The most intriguing horse at Tampa, Win Win Win, skipped this one to go straight to the Tampa Derby. I did throw a token wager on that one in the future pool.

I didn't cap the race, but after Cutchemist42 mentioned that the horse was top Prime Power, I took a quick look at the Bris Summary.
WELL DEFINED had the 2nd highest ACL rating, just slightly behind Knicks Go. He tied with Knicks for the highest Average Race Rating.
Pace-wise, he had the highest average E1 in the field. His average E2 was 2nd highest, just below Knicks Go. His best E1 was highest in the field. His best E2 was 2nd best, again just behind Knicks. His best Late Pace was highest in the field. He had the 2nd highest average speed rating (tied with Knicks) over his last three races.
So the Bris Summary was suggesting this horse was a strong contender, even without the top Prime Power ranking. But I regret to admit that I would likely have tossed this horse from the win spot based on his last two races.
