However, some publicly known facts tend to support the mistaken identity theory. I’m thinking of (1) Ford’s failure to remember such details as where the alleged attack took place,

Sounds like she was bombed out of her mind, pulling a train, and thought she saw him get on at one of the stops, but not which one.

if you were Kavanaugh, and you were innocent, the first thing that you would want is another background check.
keep in mind there is nothing criminal of this alleged fiasco from years ago. also in my opinion, i don't think that if there was something that happened 35 years ago, that it should be the deciding factor as to whether he gets the approval or not. but the way he is denying it now would make me vote against his confirmation.

The FBI background check just interviews relevant people and writes down what they heard. They are not judge and jury (even if Comey thought so) and do not proclaim a winner, loser, liar, inconsistent story, doubtful....

Complete nonsense.
Vote against him for what?
You just contradicted yourself.
He denies it therefore he's guilty?

You don't think it should be the deciding factor?
What do you think then?

What "way" should he be denying it that would make you vote for him?

No, If I were Kavanaugh, AFTER ALREADY GOING THROUGH 6, I would not want another as you say. Especially since there accuser doesn't want to testify ONCE!!

Exactly! All the burden of proof is on the accuser.

Sorry cap.......you’re wrong.
They have absolutely no jurisdiction and the statute of limitations has run, no local authority has a reason to investigate either. Btw, there is nothing to investigate.....
