That's an interesting statement, given the historical record of "the Stars and Bars" and Jews.

The South had the first elected Jewish U.S. Senator, Judah P. Benjamin. He was the first Jew to hold a Cabinet position in North America as the Secretary of State of the CSA.
The largest Jewish military cemetery in the world outside of Israel is located on Shockoe Hill in Richmond, Virginia. Created by the Hebrew Ladies Memorial Association of Richmond in 1866, the cemetery was largely funded by donations from United Confederate Veterans.
So, while there was, of course, anti-Semitism in the South just as there was in the North, it wasn't represented by "the Stars and Bars" any more than it was by the Star Spangled Banner.
