No such thing as bulletproof tax returns if the taxpayer and/or the preparer is a cheat. He's in trouble already with his loan applications lying about his assets, but that's only bank fraud and the banks don't like to make a big deal about it because they don't want to look like they didn't do their due diligence.

The NY State Tax people have no such qualms.

We've now moved the Overton Window again... its not that he's a liar, a cheat, and a criminal.

Its that you won't be able to do anything about it.

Or if the guys at the tax office don't like you.
They may not put you in jail, but they can sure make your life miserable. I'd bet big money that there are hundreds of items in Trump's tax returns that involve ambiguous interpretations of the tax code, and that Trump's tax guys interpreted all of them in his favor.

Unless you've actually played in the Majors, you don't know what it's really like, you can only guesstimate.

I doubt if there are hundreds of items in Trump's returns involve ambiguous interpretations of the tax code. And it isn't the interpretations that are ambiguous it is the tax code itself!

I don't know of 1 tax guy that doesn't interpret the tax code in favor of their clients. They would be negligent not to.

That's what I meant by ambiguous. Something the revenue people could opt to interpret the other way.

OOOPS! Michael Cohen shopped a book in 2017 defending Trump, stating he's not a liar, not racist, not crazy and not stupid.

"The book proposal was shopped before his office was raided by the FBI. Daily Mail has a transcript of the book. He was hawking it for $750K and it praised Trump. Quite different from the slanderous statements he made about Trump to Congress yesterday".....Dems, your narrative is completely dead now!

This wouldn't happen to be the same 2017 the President was stroking him $35k checks a month from his personal bank account... would it?

you'd have to be out of your mind if you think Trump has a pimple on a single tax return and it hasn't been sifted through yet. The IRS would have jumped all over him ten minutes after he won the nomination. They got nothing or he would have been toast a long time ago.
