I've always maintained Trump could be a useful idiot in all of this.
We have other threads we can discuss this in but if you'd like a list of the things Trump has done that weakens the United States and strengthens Putin the list is pretty long...
I know... I know... he's the bigliest, roughiest, toughiest, President towards Russia evah...

I'm going to play whataboutism.
Whose list was longer when compared to Trump's list? Hillary or Obama during their time in office?
It would be cool if you actually had a list on either Clinton or Obama, but I suspect you don't, for obvious reasons (not biased enough against either at the time to give two shits and/or not having a complicit media involved to make that list for you).

There's a threads for this.
Obama and Hillary were both considerably tougher on Putin.
Some would even say Putin preferred Trump to Hillary for that very reason.

The Obama Administration also placed sanctions on Russia. Ejected Russian officials. Negotiated a new strategic arms limitation treaty. Expanded NATO. Increased our deployment to the Baltic States.
Sure mistakes were made... the reset attempt, Ukraine, Syria... but to say the Trump Administration is tougher on Russia is laughable.
Being forced to act because Congress is "making you" is hardly what I would consider tough... then... you know the whole Helsinki, Syria, Treasury attempt today, etc. etc.

So no list? Is that because there is nothing to list, or nobody bothered to keep track back then? because, well, you know, they aren't Trump.... 
And they didn't have "insurance policies" in place from the FBI (and Lord knows who/where else).
I wonder if "Insurance Policy" = "Fake Russia Investigations/Probes/Allegations/Smear Campaign/Witch Hunt"

What list are you talking about.
I just listed a bunch of ways Obama was tougher on Russia. Hillary was even more hawkish during her time at state when she actually said **** Putin and **** the reset.
I don't know what you want other than to make stuff up like Trump talking about how tough he is on Russia.
Russian sanctions exist because Congress made it clear they would override his veto. As we speak Treasury is working to undermine those... that's why the Senate voted again today to tell the White House to go kick rocks.

I just opined how such a list compared to Hillary as SoS and Obama as Pres.
But apparently, people keep lists on Trump but those same people had no such lists on Hillary/Obama. That's ok. I understand completely.
