Plenty of prayers and good thoughts needed. Took an elbow to the face last night while way up in the air, probably was knocked out at that point, hit the floor hard and head bounced off the court. Stretchered off the court and still no updates being given this morning. It was the ugliest thing I've seen in person in sports.

Really sorry to see this. NN a great defensive player. Talking w/friend who was watching also though it was one of the worst ever NBA head shots -- compared it to the Rudy T thing going way back. And more recently to Artest hit on Harden-- see below. Neurologist once told me than boxers who receive this kind of shot to the head normally restricted from fighting for ca. 6 months. Regardless, even if no fracture, long-term neurological effects can be serious. Let's hope he recovers a la Harden.
