The royal family is also one of the reasons Great Britain is the most visited European country by Americans.Why a lot of Americans have this interest in them I can't explain but it's real.
Eliminate the royal family and you eliminate a lot of tourism.Everybody loves tourists because they spend money but don't use services.I believe the royal allowances pay for themselves because of this.
