So sorry to hear about this setback. I know that chemo can be rough on the immune system. They just have to get that white blood cell count back up. I'm sure she will hang in there bravely and snap back soon. All my thoughts are for her recovery.

I just learned what that meant this week! Everyone has to wear a mask when in the room with her.

Yeah, it's sad I'm guessing she is scared, because you get nasty sores in your mouth and in the gums and on your body . I was given a Neupogen shot (bone marrow booster) when I got an ANC of 0 (zero). After the shot about 2 days later my ANC normalized, once the ANC gets normal the sores heal pretty quickly.
