With that said, the piece you linked to is EXCELLENT!

It should be read by everyone who wanted Trump over DeSantis at the start of this thing. It should be read by everyone who totally dismisses Vivek over Trump.

I was a DeSantis guy at the start of this process. I publicly stated many times I didn't think Trump should even run...and I didn't want him to run.

The link you posted encapsulates perfectly why I didn't want Trump running in 2024. And why I was a DeSantis supporter at the beginning...until reality set in and it now appears nobody will be able to beat Trump in the primaries.

Now I have no choice but to support Trump and vote for him. There is no other alternative.

Maybe when the actual primary voting begins, the tide will somehow start to turn against Trump...who knows.

I really don't get Trump's stranglehold on the party. To me he has had back to when the Rubio bot misfired in the debates in 2016. I like Ramaswammy, but he has no chance. So odd that his delivery blinds a lot of people to his intelligence. The more I hear from Haley the less I like her. I guess I will root for DeSantis and hope Trump gets taken off enough ballots to give up.

I will definitely pull the lever for Trump over anything the left throws up in the General election but the hold on the party is amazing. The current version of Trump aligns more with a Haley type than either Desantis or Vivek.
