I don't see people begging for money or food. I must live a sheltered life in my rural community.

The food lines are half a mile or more long here in Houston.

You're kidding, right? She herself blocked relief several times, afraid Trump would get credit and benefit. That's no secret to anyone that follows politics.
You're not that stupid...so why do you post such ridiculous bullshit?

She blocked the overall package which included Blanket Immunity for all corporations such as Tyson Foods which knowingly ignored safety measures and forced employees to come into work under threat of dismissal. This policy resulted in hundreds of workers at a single plant getting COVID. Some of them died from it.
That was the reason for blocking the overall package on Pelosi's part.
Are you fine with companies receiving Blanket Immunity after knowingly forcing their employees to work in unsafe, possibly lethal environments under threat of dismissal?
I hope not.

I question the eligibility of many of those in those lines.
I personally know some people that don’t need it, but are constantly lining up.
We have the same up here North of Houston and the comments online are revealing. They will run to give-aways and post pictures later from their homes that reveal they really are not all that needy.
And they brag about it

I don't know anybody that has needed or gotten free food, and some of the cars on the lines cost more than my house.
But even if only ½ of the people on those lines needed the food, it adds up to lots of needy people.

Agreed.
This morning I saw the Houston Mayor giving away bicycles to underprivileged kids. New bikes supplied by a local company. 100 free bikes. Several shots of people loading their bikes into new late model trucks and a few Escalades ...........
But I know that really doesn’t mean anything.
