Lots of maiden races today. I have a love hate relationship with maidens. They often offer boxcar odds when I am on, but are also a major contributor when I am having an extended losing streak.

Speaking of losing. What a horrible day yesterday was. This always seem to happen when I brag on how well things are going. The racing Gods will always punish me for that. You would think I would learn by now. No more.

I'll go stand in the corner and contemplate on the reason why I feel the need for the approval of my peers. Maybe it comes from so many years as a losing player, I still don't know how to act when successful? It's like that obnoxious player at the track or OTB who just hit a big one and walks around with his chest puffed out, looking at everyone else like they are some kind of morons for not seeing what he did. Oh my!

Oh God, please don't let me become like that. I'd rather eat a bullet. Another lesson to be learned. I'll work on it.

My exotic bank went bust, (as usual) so no more for this month. Back to spot plays only.

Only one today.
