Best 5 had a nice day at ELP today with 6 winners on top ( up to $14.80) out of a 9 race card, and a couple of cold pick 3's

got some good ones following the Platinum #1 #2 Power longshots ;

Saratoga 4 plays went down.

Ellis 3 plays - 1 winner 14.80 (2 of em in one race)

Del Mar 2 plays 2 winners 14.80 15.80 - Frazzled in first did not look that good but played any way - Wayfire in 9th looked like solid gold.

MNR - nothing listed at 10 -1 or more but 4 listed at 8-1 - played 3 of em (one did not look good ) but the 3 went down.

all in all 12 plays 3 winners $45.40 - It was "banner day" for me. Hey is that a pun ???

Honestly, Bob...I avoid Gulfstream and Saratoga. It's been my experience, the "top-2 Platinum Power" method doesn't usually do well there...with their fancy Stakes races, manicured turf, etc. And Finger Lakes, Mountaineer, Chucktown, etc will rarely have a play at 10-1 or higher, leaving you with nothing to bet.

Look at Ellis, BTP, CBY, LAX, TUP, PID, PRX, DM...the tracks real men wager at.

Here's today's results from Del Mar---1 scratched leaving us with two wagers @ 10-1 + ML.

Parx had 2 but was dry

Louisiana had 2 , hit one for $21 , saved me as I made some additional bad bets at parx

Cby had 2 but again nada

Mnr had 2 but dry


As for Power bets it was 8 bets - $21 one hit

I think I will stop Mountain climbing as the man says.

I stand corrected, horseplayer is right, I forgot that in Race 6 at LAD, the horse Overlyappealing scratched into #2 Power horse at 15-1 on ML, I had forgotten all about it, reviewing my bet totals from yesterday, I see that it did indeed pay $21.40 to win.

Got nothing 8/18 - Parx , Louisiana, 1 at Lou , 2 at Parx ----- missed Blt as I can't get up that early - lol -- Wed will get up early for Blt , then Prx , Lou hopefully some longshots .

Only played PID yesterday, one winner out of 2, the in race 8 (10/1 ML) went gate to wire and paid $13 to win.
