Out of curiosity, one day I ordered one of Tom Console's programs. It wasn't Snapcapper, but something similar. I wanted to see how it came packaged, how long it took for delivery, etc.
I wasn't expecting much, but it showed up at my door in a couple days. It was well-packaged, with directions. It was a pretty run-of-the-mill program--appx 20% winners in the midlin' range of mutuals. Nothing eye-popping. So far, so good.
I never mentioned to Mr Console who I was or anything about me.
The next part of my experiment----I requested a refund.
Now I never ask for refunds---I figure I bought it, now I own it. Just for kicks I asked for my money back.
His reaction was priceless: Although digital sales are against the rules of EBay...Mr Console decided there were no refunds allowed, of any kind. Then the killer: He stated no one had EVER requested a refund previously. Keep in mind---this guy is affiliated with RPM.
He mentioned that if I can't make a profit with the program in question----perhaps I should find a new hobby.
Funny thing....without any other prodding, cajoling, etc--out of the blue he refunded my money in a couple days.
I like to think it's because he did some investigating, found out who he was messing with.
I wish I was that important-I'm certainly not.
