Unless my eyes deceive me, in race 3 at Mountaineer, 6/12, the jock on #5 is standing in the irons before the finish line and not riding the horse out which probably would have gotten him into the exacta

Agree ... but since that was the only turf race Velez has ridden in over 2 years, most likely misjudged finish line.
