Orlando club shooting
A person went into a packed nightclub in Orlando early this morning and using an assault rifle, killed at least 20 people and wounded 40 others.The Orlando SWAT team shot and killed the suspect.

It was a gay bar so I wonder if the motive is related to that or if it was random. This is another reason why people should be carrying. All it would have taken was one guy with a semi automatic and the number of dead would have been greatly reduced. Someone tell Hillary and Obama a shootout is better than one guy taking target practice on everyone.

Just heard on television that the FBI has labeled this a "terrorist" incident with an "ideological bent".Could be anti-gay, anti-Latino (the club was having "Latin Night") or Islamist.Doesn't sound like the Colorado theatre shooting incident, where it was some looney tunes guy.
The shooter was not from the Orlando area and the police said he was 'highly organized'.

Or even a small snub-nosed .38. Many clubs now search patrons when they enter due to all the mass shootings. Chances are that was done here and then this guy armed with an assault rifle bust through unchecked and does this.
I'm at the point now I believe any well organized plan to kill in numbers has a good chance of success, and short of arming every citizen that steps outside his house, little can be done about it.
