Barbaro book is fantastic!

Got my Barbaro book last night at Delta when author Alex Brown visited. Great account of a great horse!

I don't think I could read it...my eyes would be so teared up I couldn't see the print...I watched the Barbaro special on HRTv and that was enough for me...too damned sad.
But, I'm sure it's a wonderful read...if ya can hold emotions in check

That's true. I saw that episode myself. The best part is when Ed slid into home.

That said, it's not nice to say that so and so could have beat so and so when so and so is no longer with us.

Not The Big Bopper.......he had the flu that day.

Same place I found "Funny Cide" also for $1.

Guess thoroughbred biographies aren't great sellers.
