No problem, forget the states thing, but GGate looks so dark. So they are all the same 'ingrediants' ?

I think it's an older version of Tapeta. If I recall correctly, Presque Isle Downs has the same version and it's pretty dark as well.

Was the first thing I noticed when I went to Golden Gate a few years ago, looks almost black.

personal taste - I'm against replacing dirt or turf racing with synthetic.

however, I do enjoy handicapping synthetic.

reserving judgement for this change/addition

Sand.

On the subject of sand. Someone who's involved told me eye injuries are up on worn turf. Sand is more abrasive and the kick back on turf causes swollen , injured eyes. Not sure where on the list it was, but eye problems was on it.

I don't know but sounds implausible. Only other change I noticed were these new rails. They prevent horses from congregating on the outer turf.

Can't make any money with Sunday pools. No tourist money.

All the furniture in here is premium. The picnic tables and benches are oak & walnut. Chairs are wrought iron. It gets windy here & this stuff stays out

. The nicest picnic tables I've ever sat on in my life.

Sunday Crowd.

Sole Volante. In last year's Kentucky Derby, In today AOC62.5. , 4 HORSE field, even money, ran last by lengths.

$21 winner In a 4 horse field was I'm a G six. Maragh trained, and ridden, maragh party in the winners circle.

Inside Pegasus Park.. Only my 2nd time in here. It's closed to the public. In 3 year's I've seen 3 private events in here. Belinda Stronach with the violin crowd.

The stone work and landscaping ultra premium.

There's a MOAT

Stone work is solid. Classy

Nothing to report on the poly track. Randoms.

I don't know why Lin Lang's name is on this helmet. Only Lin Lang I know is a Mongolian horse breeder who walks around with a falcon on his shoulder.

Leg man.
