What evidence can you cite that this tome was written over 1,500 years instead of a shorter time? Can you provide a list of the alleged 40+ writers?

Well...since you're opposed to a fine Christian resource to shed light on the bible, I suppose you could go the other route and connect with a satanic temple to see if they could answer your questions.

And how would I know what Eve ate? Scripture is silent on that. Besides, does it matter? Why do you concern yourself with incidental minutia? Or could it possibly be that the real story of the Fall account in Genesis that Adam & Eve did NOT believe God which resulted in their disobedience and subsequently all their progeny suffered the consequences of their sin in multiple ways? Another wild and crazy guess...I know...but hey...I'm on a roll today.
