are there any toteboard only schemes that are fun to try?
I've noticed when a first time starter goes off as the favorite, way below it's morning line , the show is a good bet and usually pays near the win bet.
If the criteria really is just having fun--and therefore I don't need to provide any quant analysis of why I play this sometimes:
When there's an odds-on favorite taking all the $$ in a race with a decent number of starters I will often look at other entries whose odds haven't floated up that much.
So like with a 1-9 fave, I'll pass on the 20-1 ML who is now 40-1 but I will throw some fun $$ on a 8-1 ML who is now 'just' 9-1.
