Good lookin out there, Ron....Looking at the pace set-up E-4 WILD SHOT'S only chance was to try to steal it.
IRAP stalked as long as he could--then with plenty left in the tank, put the hammer down!
Speed is vital in long routes--as it is at any distance in horse racing.

Just scored a nice pick-3 @ TUP using the horses from the comp report:
5ff4e-be9abTUP#1$1 Pick-3 3, 8, WT, 2, 4, WT, 5, 6, 9 $12.00 $196.90 + $184.90
If I see longshots in adjoining races...I like to make a double or p-3. Sometimes you'll see two good priced horses together in a race on the Hot List....I know greenie uses them in exactas

Gonna take a shot at the early AQ pick-3 (races 1-3)
I really like unlisted HOPPER DROPPER in the 2nd--and LIGHT THE VOW is listed 4 times in that race---so couldn't single Hopper Dropper--I have 'em both.
$1 Pick-3: 1,3,4,5 / 3,5 / 1,4
Bets: 16 Total: $16
Win or lose I think this is a decent ticket for $16. Also the AQ TIP SHEET is below, as well.
Good Luck

Remember the old ABILITY TOP-4 play? Since the inner meet ended--there have been 5 plays-2 have won.
ZEALOUS SCHOLAR $32.40
JEWEL HEIST
PLAY ME A MEMORY
BANCROFT HALL
HIGHWAY STAR $12.60
(Highway star was 10-1 ML)
Remember the simple rules= click 2.5--then sort by ABILITY...any horses 10-1 or higher--in the top-4--are a play.
This one is easy enough to keep tabs on--there are no plays today

i'm heading to Oaklawn today for the whole weekend... i was able to run thursday and friday thru Platinum but any chance someone could get Saturday's card for me and post the top speed horses in each race? (or email me at my username and hotmail).
and if anyone is going to be around i'll be across the street from oaklawn at crosswalk thursday, friday, and saturday before and after races. look for iowa hawkeye gear at the bar.

If possible...can you check on something?
This is just a gut intuition, but I've noticed quite a few horses that hit their SR TOP....and don't win.
Within their next two races--they seem to win often. I call this phenomenon the "due-column bounce"
Anything there with this?

Feels like I broke my maiden and moved up to allowance class research! I need to go on the shelf for a couple of weeks before I start grinding angle gears again.
Hoosier Park went live for a historic season as they will host the Breeders Crown races in October. Everyone is pumped and our track is "the place to be" right now. I won the $25 trifecta tuesday contest last night while enjoying the races from a lounge box, in fact. I plan on playing in tonights contest every week after attending live racing at Indiana Grand in Shelbyville about an hour away. I predict the Indiana racing industry is about to explode with success in 2017. The breeding farms investment and economic impact in my hometown area is real. I plan to be in close attendance when they present trophies and award much of the major purse monies.
I'm about done for the week as I cannot play at all this weekend. I will be back to researching your specific base term soon. In the meantime think of a few criteria you might check for the one or two races before the pop. I will certainly get back to you on this one.

Was doing a little back-checking on the 4 PACE-VIEW plays that produce the most winners (not the highest ROI).
The 4 plays are
Platinum and Pro BEST BETS (either program gives the same best bets)
Platinum HIGH CLASS
Platinum ABILITY POWER
PonyPicker EASY WINNERS
Let me give you the results first---all races at AQ for this month of April.
BEST BETS 28 Selections - 11 wins- 9 2nds- 4 3rds (4-OOM) win 39% ret $60.80 avg mutuel $5.53
ROI +$1.09 ITM 86%
HIGH CLASS 19 Selections 9 wins- 6 2nds- 3 3rds (1-OOM) win 47% ret $42.00 avg mutuel $4.67
ROI +$1.11 ITM 95%
ABILITY POWER 26 Selections 8 winners 11 2nds 4 3rds (3-OOM) win 31% ret $38.20 avg mutuel $4.78 ROI -$.79 ITM 88%
EASY WINNERS 30 Selections 14 wins 9 2nds 4 3rds (3-OOM) win 47% ret $62.40 avg mutuel
$4.46 ROI +$1.04 ITM 90%
The surprising part of this study is the extremely high IN THE MONEY %....close to 90% for all methods.
Another surprise was ABILITY POWER lost it's 1st 9 selections....but 8 hit the board...then won 8 of 17
Something that can be quite useful constructing Exotics.
Best,
-NCG
(don't forget to pick up the new free Dutch-betting booklet)
