Trump whines about Fox News covering Dems

Quote:
Fox News has been hosting Democratic presidential candidates willing to appear on the network. It has staged “town halls” for Pete Buttigieg, Bernie Sanders, and Amy Klobuchar, and has scheduled one for Kirsten Gillibrand.

President Trump seems unhappy about this. Before the Fox News event with Buttigieg, he tweeted:
Hard to believe that @Fox News is wasting airtime on Mayor Pete, as Chris Wallace likes to call him. Fox is moving more and more to the losing (wrong) side in covering Democrats.
In response, Brit Hume tweeted, “Covering candidates of both parties is part of the job of a news channel.” Of course it is.
News? We don't need no stinking news. Just 24/7 coverage of The Donald!

I seem to recall Obama whining quite about Fox News -- and Rush Limbaugh, for that matter. Don't you?

Well, the rest of the media is 24/7 anti-Trump so I guess he is justified.

Serious question - does anyone recall seeing any real news coverage on any network?

What I found to be lacking in the town hall meetings is the very weak challenges, if any, by the hosts to question answers. The candidates spoke, the Demo audience applauded, and then on to the next question, for the most part. I found all of the meetings to be quite boring. If I wanted to listen to just plain-old-agenda speeches, I would attend or watch one of their rallies.

And, how about Bernie Sanders' audience, when asked, being for and applauding they losing employer-paid health insurance, if the so-called medicare-for-all is adopted? Are these obviously now, set-up, comfy-zone Demo audiences really that stupid?

Yeah, either Fox News is gradually moving more and more to the left, or they are just scared to upset a Demo for fear of not getting in the next one.

In response to Brit Hume, "covering" is the least of a news channel's responsibility, in this type of venue.

I won't be watching any more of their, yes, wasted-time, Demo town hall meetings.

I wasn't whining, I was laughing at a president of the US who is so petty that he worries about some small-time Dem getting some air time.

A news channel's primary "responsibility" is to get ratings so it can sell ads.

I would characterize it as narcissistic whining by Obama.
