AG Barr appoints a top federal prosecutor, John Durham, to investigate the investigators responsible for the origins of the Russia probe.

I expect fewer leaks from this one than the last, so it is best to keep the projections lite. I will project Michael Flynn case is overturned because there was no legal basis for the special prosecutor to be appointed.

Or they go into hiding, no more CNN etc.......
I bet they double down. Indictments right about October 2020?

If Comey gets hit with espionage charges for recording the President, they will go in hiding unless they already have negotiated deals for info and testimony.

He will be cleared and reimbursed monetarily. IMO Assistant AG Rod Rosenstein flipped long ago when there were questions about him secretly recording the President and this helped uncover the plot more smoothly. The cat is out of the bag, finally!

What is congressional oversight?
Congressional oversight refers to oversight by the United States Congress of the Executive Branch, including the numerous U.S. federal agencies. Congressional oversight refers to the review, monitoring, and supervision of federal agencies, programs, activities, and policy implementation.

Congressional oversight does not include investigations into criminal acts. The house by issuing those subpoenas are causing a Constitutional crisis as congress is overreaching of its "implied" power of oversight of the Executive branch.
None of those subpoenas are directed for information about a federal agency (the executive branch is not an agency) and congress does not have the power to investigate if a crime occurred.
