The worst song ever was from back in the '70s. I just ate, so no way I am going to look it up. It was by Paul Anka, called "She's Having My Baby". Very big on the Top 40 stations at the time.

I've been reading Al Kooper's autobiography and he wrote with two others This Diamond Ring, which he thought was a decent song but thought Jerry's son did a bad job. (IMHO it is crap but no worse than a lot of other stuff from that era):
