Handicapping Magician - Black Magic

I have Handicapping Magician dated 2000 and was thinking about using it again. My question is about the Form Cycle Window - has anyone tried or I would welcome your opinion on setting it to the last 5 races for every horse.

I don’t have Valuecapper or Black Magic. I’ll break out the old XP computer this weekend and look at Handicapping Magician...I know you can choose Full, 1/2 or No variant.

Working from home today and had time to grab the old XP. I have The Master Magician software. With this software you can select Preferences, PBS and set your variant.

I have had good luck opening the form cycle window and choosing a running line that makes sense for the horse using the two excuse strategy and today’s type of race (distance, surface, class level etc.). I also close the running lines that don’t make sense if multiple lines are open so as not to inflate or deflate the ppf or pbs numbers.

is there an actual setting for LASST in the software,or do you have to figure it out yourself?
