The Meadows June 25th
Analysis/Comments/Any Handicapping Input is welcome and appreciated.
R2- 4 Arctic Tale- Big wins in both Qualifiers, and gets Palone in the bike. Burke has this one fit, and is outright the best in this race.
R3- 6 Citadel Hall- Won by 5 at this level a few back, then bumped up and raced well. Poor post last out, should be leaving here.
R5- 3 Can't Stop Me Now- Palone in the sulky, good post, and in shape. Facing many moving up in class.
R6- 7 Delicious- Back class, and the solid 1:56 mile here in May off a scratch made this a playable race. Has tons of class. Last race looks dismal, but went middle 1/2 in a "hidden" 55.4!
R8- 5 Cocktail Attire- On fire this yr, especially at The Meadows. Has the early speed to blow the field away. Not 1 that will be serious in the final, but against today's contenders, an absolute wager!

My comment is.. betting on young trotters will disappoint more than please so pass 2 6 and 8.
but I wonder what your thoughts (and others) are about Race 16
I'm thinking of Trifecta key boxing #8 Trou Normand- with 736
that's a 12/1 keyed with a 12/1, a 20/1 and 2/1 Palone
Doug Snyder trained 5yo trotting gelding won 10 of 30 last year and last race woke up.
Good Luck Will and all

How's it going Ray....any reason you don't like the ..Lord of Andover? Just claimed the 18th. I certainly could be wrong..but i don't think the will be bet a lot because of the post position. Last two were good races. Who knows Ray....only the Shadow i guess.
I like the with "if it wins"

Bo
He's certainly a horse to consider off the claim, and I still haven't made up my mind
One if the 'things' I look at is the order of finish of past races which involve a majority of todays entries. (Of course post position plays a part)
This race has 6 horses who go at each other often (20 claimers)
On Jun 18 they finished..
1 TOM'S OK LADY (the 6)
2 TROU NORMAND (the 8) .......bested the 9 from pp8
3 LORD OF ANDOVER (the 9)
4 BOBBI JO'S LINDY (the 7)
5 DANGEROUS TIDE (the 3)
6 CHIP CHIP MAC (the 4)
On Jun 11 they finished..
1 LORD OF ANDOVER (the 9) ....bested the 8 from pp6
2 TOM'S OK LADY (the 6)
4 BOBBI JO'S LINDY (the 7)
5 TROU NORMAND (the 8)
8 CHIP CHIP MAC (the 4)
9 DANGEROUS TIDE (the 3)
This game is always a puzzle...gotta luv it...
