In case you couldn't tell by this thread, you hardly speak for "us". You speak for a tiny minority luckily. A minority afraid of anything different than them.
I'm a card carrying member of anything that is against you and your ignorant opinions.

A.Dersh is considered to be one of the more brilliant legal minds in the country.
Let's see how your take stacks up to his take on the charge.

He is a paid defense attorney. What else were we supposed to hear?

The charge of 2nd degree was never a mystery to any of us. I, earlier in the thread alluded to this as well. The bar was set to high for that specific charge perhaps, but does this, in and of itself, justify the shooting? No it does not. A lesser charge would have been the prudent thing in many folks eyes, but this has not occured. Are there other recourses during jury instructions? I have no clue....is it 2nd degree or he walks? Again, no clue. If they hang, can they retry on lesser charge? Again, no clue. It was an avoidable death imo, regardless of if I felt he deserved to die or not.

Still namecalling...my my, the brilliance is stunning. Nice work. Since I disagree with you my mind is somehow vacant? Ignorance comes to mind here. Again nice work.

Disagree on what? Dershowitz knows his shit and you know nothing. Plain & simple. Thus, vacant.

hanover, so you don't think a defense attorney with no "dog in the hunt" can be objective?

You're another one with a reading comp problem. What I said, is that aside from the murder 2 charge, he hasn't done anything else thought to be legally wrong, otherwise he would have been charged. Learn to read.

He stated the obvious when he declared the 2nd degree as overkill. Nothing else to glean except his take on who he felt was criminal. Strangely we have not seen charges brought against anyone except the shooter here. Nor are we likely to. Is this the first time a case can be lost on procedural misconduct? Lets ask the pros.......was still an avoidable shooting. Even Alan D QUICKLY stated "perhaps" charges are warranted.

I don't speak for anyone, nor does anyone speak for me. I used "us" only in the sense of those who read or post on this OT forum. (For your info, we're not alone.)

For someone so ignorant, my earlier theories are slowly but surely panning out -- even the one where I postulated that Trayvon Little Innocence could be a drug user. But you can't say that for yourself, can you?
So, answer for me what you were too cowardly to clarify earlier. If the roles had been reversed, that is to say, if Martin had been in Zimm's shoes and vice versa, who would you think is the guilty one? Zimm or Martin and why?

"We" need justice for Trayvon Martin.
