free, a key word, the number one site is one that is free! secondly is sites that allow you to watch races for free. Youtube has many archived races, watch the greats ,watch John Campbell in the great Jug drives, the great Pepsi North America drives, watch Somebeachsomewhere the great recent pacer and see how great looks,it makes it easier to judge good, watch him lose the 2008 Meadowlands Pace, see how a great horse loses a race.
www.standardbredcanada.ca has links to tracks and stats, 2 year olds in training ,free programs and Video! If you watch Woodbine/Mohawk they interview trainers ,drivers etc during the broadcasts. The talking head handicappers on some of these shows are full of terms and explanations (not always good picks, haha). There is no replacement for watching races ,the good judgement you have to supply.
