It's rather simple, actually. Ignore the propaganda, examine the facts. For example, the great gains in employment have barely kept pace with population growth since Trump has come into office. His "awesome" tax break took money out of the pockets of high end home owners. And by high end, I mean the $250K to $750K, not the multi-million dollar palaces owned by the top .8%.
How's that wall coming along? How's immigration reform coming along?
Trump has done virtually nothing in terms of correcting trends of the decline of the middle class - that is, unless you believe service jobs at $15 an hour are the new middle class.
Trump has done virtually nothing to improve the housing situation, and homeless numbers are way up, especially in the high-priced urban areas. He's done virtually nothing to address the opioid and disability problems in fly-over country.
Trump has done nothing to improve health care costs. He's in a position, mind you, to simply enforce antitrust laws to do that. But since Trump is every bit as Crooked as HRC, he's not done that - and, he's NOT going to do that.
His foreign policy is up in the air - too early to tell. But he has no long-term or strategic policies to smoothly transition the American Empire the way the Brits did, and to fix infrastructure or transition to higher energy costs.
How's that national debt? Yup. Like Obama, spending like a drunken sailor.
In short, he's a fraud, better spoken and occasionally entertaining compared to his opponent in the election, but a fraud nonetheless. His policies thus far, have kept the propaganda machine humming along, but real, tangible results in fixing the many problems in this country are not to be seen.
