AmWager - Virtual Racing

Virtual Racing provided by USOffTrack from Derby Lane, Palm Beach and Tampa Bay is now live on AmWager.

One known issue is mobile video on the PRO UI is not working (will be resolved possibly today)
Video works on desktop on both UIs and mobile on PLUS UI.

are these actual past races or 'simulated' races?

is there a way to determine trainer intent?

They are past actual races from that track randomly selected with generated names on the runners.

The only statistic currently is how often they've placed in their last 6 races prior to the selected one with a star system.

I'm not sure if the provider is working on any other stats. In the end the stats have to be pretty basic to avoid identifying the actual past race.

Where do I find the number of places in the money for each horse?

That is quite a lot of information already.

On the video feed you can see 3 lines.

It is a star rating showing the proportion of times the runner finished in
1st or second (top line)
2nd line is 2nd or 3rd
and 3rd line shows number of times 3+

Right now the pools are extremely small but I expect that will change as some of the big ADWs are working on implementing it in the near future.

So, the data is from the actual race in contention but the horses names don't match the numbers?

Does the data being used come from the actual races and are they tied to the correct horses by number?

What's the takeout?

It's interesting to note that some of our fellow posters had your idea long ago....

The late Perry Tunks AKA Robert Goren(1948-2016), had as his signature, the following:

"Some day in the not too distant future, horse players will be betting on computer generated races over the net. Race tracks will become casinos and shopping centers. And some crooner will be belting out "there used to be a race track here"."

Okay so several things to answer..

First off though this isn't our product, we are just one of the ADWs where you can bet on it. USOffTrack is the creator and host. More ADWs are coming soon.

Takeout is 22%.

The names are generic names basically a placeholder, but the data matches the actual runner.

They do not look like real races to me.

I must misunderstand the stars. It seem to me that for a horse with 6 races the first and last rows should total 6 and they do not.

They must scramble the numbers. There was no race on 4/9/14 that finished 8-5-10

..............................

as is often the case on this site, I'm mystified by this

I just don't get it

why would anybody want to bet with so little info?

a lot of horseplayers get creamed even though they have a ton of info

maybe their idea is that if they know much less they'll do a lot better?..

and 22% takeout - on WPS?

that's way higher than most real tracks

virtual stuff

I think its the same with the brothels offering sex robots

you have to pay a lot more more because its a lot worse than with a real live one.............
