TIL Obamacare is government healthcare.

Like I said the Democrats will take this stick and beat the living hell out of the GOP with it. They just did.

Obamacare does suck but it's better than the alternative which is nothing...

Like I said its going to be real funny when the GOP goes to salvage it and change its name to Trumpcare or something just like NAFTA.

The other stuff like the wall and infrastructure got a chuckle out of me... but those have their own threads.

Socialized Medicine is a huge, huge deal to socialists because it is the second, foundational cornerstone to Socialism. A lot will be riding on the upcoming court decisions.
I was talking in the Appeals Court...

Suddenly you don't seem so sure of this "epic" win.

Surprising... well not really... it's a pretty shoddy legal decision.

Even you can see that.

The district court ruled correctly. Of this I am confident.

But we both know this isn't the end of the matter; it's only the first of three steps. Even you should know that -- that regardless how an Appeals Court rules, this will wind up before the SC. One side or the other will take it to the top floor.

Sadly, you are probably right.

The GOP will try to rewrap Oshitcare into something that isn't all that different than Oshitcare.

Either way, nobody should vote for Medicaid for all. That is a disaster.

PS: By the way, the Dems didn't beat the GOP with a stick at Midterms with Oshitcare, they beat the Dems with Anti-Trump warfare. Period. That is the Dem platform. And they are gonna ride that bitch till she quits.

In case you missed it... they already did once... a month ago.
You got this right. Trump has no path to victory in 2020. He is not going to win in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania with health insurance becoming the single most important issue to voters.

The way ACA was written, it affects parts of Medicare, insurance (or lack of) for those with pre-existing conditions, Medicaid, exchange sponsored health plans and who knows what else.

There are now even additional red states planning to expand Medicaid. So what is going to happen now? Trump offers nothing!

Even though I think that ACA will ultimately survive appeal in higher courts because there is nothing in ACA law now without the mandate and penalty requirement that makes it unconstitutional, Trump lost any credibility he had on this issue. He can't be trusted with this issue which for many people is difference between life or death.

Ohio seems to be a safe red state at the moment. Barring Brown running on the ticket that still seems likely.

Michigan and Pennsylvania are gone. They're blue territory now.

Florida is gonna Florida.

Without Wisconsin (toss up right now) there is no path to victory for Trump.

You guys are insane.

If the Blue spends the next 2 years trying to incriminate Trump while doing absolutely nothing for their constituents, they are gonna lose. And that is exactly what they have coming down the pike.

They also have a bunch of Froshies on the Hill that are bending over for the old guard unlike what they promised. If Pelosi and Schumer are still the face of the Blue party come 2020, then they have absolutely failed.

The complete and total hypocrisy of the Blue is gonna be on full display for the country to watch in 2019. At some point in time, even the bluest of blues is gonna be able see the 100 tons of garbage in their own backyard.

What exactly do you expect Democrats to do with a Republican Senate and a "whatever he is" WH?

Why would their legislative expectations be any higher, in your estimation, that the extremely low bar set by the preceding Congress?

They are going to be a party of no. Nancy is going to stomp Trump all over D.C. if Monday was any indication of what's to come.

The only hope for legislative breakthrough will be if Nancy and Mitch agree to play nice and ignore the WH.

I'm predicting Trump doesn't run in 2020. (12/2018)

Certainly more likely than him winning.

If you think NancyPants stomped all over Trump on Monday, then I have little hope for you and/or your cause.

Good luck. Have a great weekend.

No one here is willing to admit exactly what is wrong and the underlying facts, only what they want. Once exposed the 32 TRILLION price tag will have no votes. The only solution is more jobs with health care, ones that require high end employees. And getting rid of illegals faster because they drain ALL resources like hospitals, schools, police and many more not mentioned. Fixing the numbers will take decades, until the numbers are equalized the problem will be too big to take on. Say what you want until you are blue in the face, NO one is going to rescue anyone.
