The WH has to realize this is diminishing returns politics. They were soundly beaten in suburban communities with a roaring economy and sub 4% unemployment.
Trump didn't do anything. What a totally asinine theory, since it would be a totally self-defeating strategy. Trump is behind the invasion to gain political talking points, but eventually he's going to have find a way to undo a problem of his own making?

My take is that where the Democrats ran young, progressive candidates such as they did in the House, they won. Where they ran old mealy mouthed look at me, I'm a moderate candidates they lost.
Nelson in Florida, Donnelly in Indiana, and McCaskill in Missouri all ran as centrists, they all lost. And while there were several progressive candidates such as Gillum, Abrams and O'Rourke who also lost, all of them ran much closer races than expected.

The thing now is not to oppose just to oppose, but also not to be afraid to oppose. And, for God's sake, use the subpoena power.

Yeah, well just wait until the young guns like Cortes actually have to work with these old-timers. Talk about a clash of ideas...

Today’s Moronic Hot Take:

The Senate Results Are Unfair Because Democrats Won The “Senate Popular Vote”

What are you talking about?

Are we really at the point where we have to make up things people didn't say so we can argue with them?

Its a sad state Box when I point out a shrewd campaign tactic by the President and you hear that as "Trump was secretly behind the caravan all along says the dim conspiracy theorist."

Not what I said at all.

Not to quibble but it’s 3 lost seats and not 4.

Dems will most likely return 46 to their caucus. They had 49.

Jim Acosta has a chip on his shoulder.
In that Press Conference he was goading Trump in the hope that he, Jim Acosta, would become the news.
The White House Administration should suspend Acosta's privileges to the grounds.

Two that lost a ton of power were murkowski and Susan Collins. With the senate gains, they can't stomp their feet and hold their breathe anymore and hold the other repub members over a barrel. The votes are there with or without them.

Depends on how you look at it. Four incumbent Democratic Senators lost their seats; Nelson, Donnelly, McCaskill and Heitkamp. However, Jacky Rosen beat Dean Heller so the overall result was 3 lost seats.

Why do so many on the far right embrace Trump? Because he's an asshole and treats people like shit. They get off on that and most freely admit it.

Why is he an asshole and why does he treat people like shit? Just because.
