Century Mile is hiring!

Hey All,

The new mile racetrack just outside of Edmonton is opening in April 2019.

We are looking for a number of jobs, most notably an announcer and racing secretary. Links are below!

Exciting times in Alberta, with two new tracks built in the last 3 years, including the first mile track in Western Canada!

Any questions - ask away!

I’d totally try out for the announcer’s job...if I wasn’t tied into my New York job for the next seven years.

Hey Matt. Good to see you representing Century.

What are the TB and QH racing dates?

Hey Vic!

We have 51 Thoroughbred days from April 28th - August 26th. QH will be mixed in there as well.

Then we move to Standardbred and they race from September 1st to December 31st - 35 days.

Will Standardbred and Thoroughbred's rotate at the current Century Downs as well? So when Downs is doing harness, Mile is doing TB's and vice versa.

Correct! The thoroughbreds go down to Calgary for September and October, and we get the harness.
