Norways has to agree free labour movement into Norway, pay into EU funding and obey practically all EU laws even though they do not participate in passing those laws.

UK already gets the best terms inside the EU - that is free tariffs and zero hold ups at customs. So can only get worse terms outside of the World's biggest trading block.

UK net fee is £8B but it gets £53B inward investment from foreign firms using UK as an EU base and earns £170B a year extra due to the free trading into the EU. The membership fee is almost irrelevant.

Immigration was a factor, as was the economic reasons. But the biggest reason was they wanted their freedom back.

Why should UNELECTED ELITES, with no opposition, be allowed to make laws and govern the lives of the UK citizens?

It's as if the unelected elites would be totally down with the Absolute Authority of the Divine Right of Kings or something. What progressive liberals once rebelled against they now embrace.

A lot of it really came down to law making. The EU banned all vacuums over 900w, and the underpowered ones weren't good at their job. Then they make teapots take longer to make tea. All in the name of the fight against the phantom global warming, which even if true, is better than global cooling.

Under Ripley's believe it or not. You really have to read the article to understand how far the stupidity goes.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...-brexit-vote2/

It REALLY gives you pause about how far Big Brother has gone in Europe and why the Leave group won.

It's funny and frightening at the same time. The "I know what's best for you" crowd is quickly heading toward economic and social facism.

Yes. The mental illness is quite widespread.

I think their science sucks too. How much energy do you save if you have appliances like toasters or tea kettles that use power at a lower level but have to be run for a much longer time?
