What makes you think he ordered it?

What motive would he have had, for he had to have known that the entire western world would react negatively, and that the act could well kill (bad pun intended) his aspirations for closer political-economic ties with the U.S.?

On the other hand, Wahabi adherents (such as the Mulsim Brotherhood) would have had every motive to throw cold water on the crown prince's plans, since they hate the "Great Satan" (yeah, that would be U.S.).

I find it amazing how nearly everyone here rushes madly to judgment against the Saudis without any solid evidence.

Nothing short of a disgrace.

Thinking for one moment that we have to humor the Saudis is a
very sad reflection on this country, and those who would forgive easily.

Don't believe that Obama would not have taken swifter and more meaningful action.
He would not be compromised like Trump is, added to the fact that
the victim is an American with a family in mourning. Obama would be reacting
to the human issues here - not any short term effect on our balance sheet.

Yes, visceral libs specialize in "[knee-jerk] reacting to...human issues".

Agree.
Who cares?
the guy was a Muslim Brotherhood stooge and his death is probably a good thing in the final analysis.

I encourage Saudis and Turks to kill more of each other.

NOT our problem.

We're the United States.

You walk in and tell them that unfortunately they're busted and these are the new rules for awhile. In the meantime we trust that the spice will continue to flow. If they don't like the new rules or the spice stops flowing they will get a new set of rules worse than the first.

Its pretty simple.

A pious, god fearing, man such as yourself will appreciate this.
Or, maybe not.

To quote Paul Krugman:

Quote:
Remember the Eleventh Commandment: "Thou shalt excuse stuff like killing and bearing false witness if arms sales are at stake."

So now you want us to be the world's policeman?
You had shit fits when W did it, now you have them when Trump doesn't.

Maybe you should check your diet.

Read my lips- NOT our problem. Bad guys killing other bad guys = a good thing. Hope it trends throughout the ME. This a guy's death was his own stupidity.

When we only act when it is in the United States National Interest it is like rubbing salt in the ultra liberals eyes, it is the main reason I like the idea.

I really would like to hear how you come to that conclusion.

If I believe some of what is reported, the minced meat guy went to the consulate to pick up some obligatory paperwork and permissions for his wedding.

I consider a consulate more secure than a church, public library and school. They have those ID checks and metal detectors upon entry.

I guess the machetes and bone saws somehow got through.

I don't buy the story that the guy got into a fist fight/brawl with 15 other people.

May he rest in pieces. Wherever his body is. Please explain his own stupidity; thanks in advance.

He knew they were out to get him.
He told his companion if he didn't come out, he would be dead.
He knew they wanted to kill him, yet he went in alone.

I call that stupid.
Now the Muslim Brotherhood can mourn him.
I don't.

The fist fight is a joke.
The Sorry's are cold blooded murderers.
We should NOT be having any relations with them for that, not just this.
This is stupid stuff.

The bottom line is SA is as and Evil and Empire as there is, right along side Iran.
If the Sorry's want our arms, we should lob them to them.
