What is the arrangement, Waller will sacrifice 2nd place prize money to have it set up like this. How honest can these races be run, surely Waller wouldn't have one of his of his upset the apple cart. Everyone else on their horse must play along.
Winx a great horse, don't get me wrong, but does Waller stacking the entry box the past 2 races taint the legacy just a wee bit?

She's a closer who goes wide. No amount of stacking really helps. Even friendly traffic is a risk. A 3 horse race would have been an even surer set up.
I thought for sure she was getting beat last night. She looked all out but not making up ground, then she did it, and once she gets on par she always makes it look never in doubt.
If it had been a 3 horse race, people would say she was given the race. At least the race had enough horses to make some betting options. Also, Australia is pretty much a stickler for racing until the end of the race and for the best placing you can.
27 in a row means she's good enough to make her own luck, which ain't no small thing. Having raced over 30 times is pretty special these days all by itself. She's like the guy at the roulette table who keeps letting it ride on black 27.
