Last August, DRF photographer and former Baltimore Sun sportswriter, Tom Keyser, wrote a feature piece on Tils Tilbury and Frosty, who for years have spent April to November at Saratoga ponying horses each morning.

Rest in peace, fella. You will be missed.

(At age 26.)
Wow! Worked until age 25. Frosty had a good life.

Bit of history some may not know about Prized .

At three years old Prized
won the Bradbury Stakes at Santa Anita, then prevailed over 1989 Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner Sunday Silence in the Swaps Stakes (GII). That September the dark bay son of Kris S. took the Molson Export Million, which had came off the turf, a victory that secured the colt-a three year old who had only started on dirt-entry in the 1989 Breeders’ Cup Turf (GI). His triumph in a head-to-head duel with Sierra Roberta made Prized the first horse to win the Breeders’ Cup Turf in the his first start on the grass, as well as the first horse in racing history to win two million-dollar races on two surfaces in a single season.

Old Friends was proud to have him and he lived a good long life !
RIP Prized !

Sending good thoughts , prayers to J Duran . I understand he will be
having surgery tomorrow on multiple fractures . I heard he sustained
injury to his spine as well during the accident with Dance with Fate .
Hoping for a full and speedy recovery .

Below is a vid of some sweet moments with the horse and Corey Nakatani's
daughter some months back .http://youtu.be/xMZQDUQufkI

Might be a little controversial in posting this site but in case anyone wanted to know what happened to certain horses, this guy keeps a hawk eye on it. Of course, he does so because he hates the industry.
