Not sure betting jocks blind is a good idea. In the UK Laster Piggott was known as the housewives favourite as they would place their sixpences and shillings (nickels and dimes) in multiple bets on all his mounts.

Frankie Dettori achieved a similar status here as well. it was always a bad day for the bookies when he did well.

You could do worse this year. So far in 2024, he wins at 22% and his ROI is 1.9516 for a small flat bet loss. But...

2023 15% 1.4712 ROI
Career 16% 1.5993 ROI

You will do worse when the brothers Ortiz et al. return from Florida.

I 'dodged a bullet' in 1995 when I gave up chasing losses and just flexed +ROI

I hope you think you are paying for the vig.

the up-and-coming rider right now has to be Keith James Asmussen. he is a tall kid, but i was watching him all weekend, he sits on a horse as good as i have seen and he is starting to place horses in good spots to give the horse better shots.

it doesn't hurt that his main business comes from the all-time leading winning trainer, his dad.
