But making it impossible for low wage earners to get into this
country is not the solution.

There is already a LEGAL process for them to come here.
Is may not be the best one, but blame -bama and the Democrats for that - THEY had the golden opportunity to put in whatever they wanted and the GOP could not stop them. And now they refuse to even negotiate fixing it because they put using it as a campaign issue is more important to them then the workers.
They ignore the problem and now whine about it.

More Evidence Emerges That Trump Intended for Family Separation to Be Permanent
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/...permanent.html
[During a Wednesday meeting], Trump Administration officials made a startling confession—they had no interagency plan in place to reunite children with their parents when Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced President Trump’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy in April,” the trio of Congressman announced on Thursday. “Even if they believed their new policy was the right one, how could they have been so heartless not to have planned to reunite these children with their parents?”
This is a question that should haunt this country for years: Did our government plan to make effective orphans of thousands of children who came here with loving parents?
Again, the plain answer seems to be: “Yes.”

Oh, well, when you put it like that.
BTW, how did they know all the parents were loving parents? Nice touch though. Really pulls at the ol' heart strings. Melodrama at its finest.
Every loving parent I know can't wait to drag their children across Mexico and beyond, with all the dangers that can entail.
No doubt spot on.

Wouldn't "loving parents" seek asylum in Mexico? Why would loving parents, escaping war and seeking asylum of course, expose their children to such danger of crossing the entire span of Mexico to get to the USA?
What's wrong with Mexico?

Hey....what are you complaining about for crying out loud? The Nanny State is infinitely better equipped to raise the youngsters. Don't you know that it takes a village and all that other good stuff? The kiddies are in good heads with Big Nanny State. Don't sweat the small stuff. The kids never had it so good!

I wonder how much land in Florida hcap has purchased over the years?
IF we buy into ANY of hcap's flawed premise, Then these kids are clearly safer in those detention ROOMS and are getting better food and medical care that they were.
STOP with this senseless bleeding heart liberal BS day in day out.
NONE of it is true - NONE
Unless YOU are prepared to take some of them into your home.
Enough talky - time for walky.

Why does the left care so much about babies from Honderus when they are the party of baby death (family planning / planned parenthood) ?

You think they would be happy to just abort them all?
Abortion is a convenience to a liberal.
Good thing for the kids DEMS are not in charge!

It's why nobody puts any stock in the lefts whining about this. If they really cared about kids they wouldn't support abortion. everybody knows this is nothing but election year nonsense.

This is from 2014.
"Just because you're child gets across the border doesn't mean they get to stay".
That is 4 years ago. They knew of the massive problem, and did abso-****ing-lutely nothing but kick the can down the road.
And that is what Democrats do best. Kick the can down the road, smile, talk pretty, and tell everybody everything is OK. And then, when somebody else is in charge, they cry bloody murder.
Same old same old. Do as I say, not as I do.
