The 2 and 3 decided not use horse at the break, leaving me with only the 1 involved and w/ the track, but the 2 had so much horse he ended up circling wide.

I screwed up here but my play hit. Long story short the numbers were correct but the names of the horses were from the last race at Mahoning that had already gone off. Doh.

Anyways. The final order of finish was Something Naughty Bella El Milagro All Ours Hurricane Josie and the over exacta paid $21.40 on a straight $2.00 exacta wager.

Lesson learned
DON'T = play a pick3 that features an entry etc..
DO = play exactas instead for your value race


I beat the track in race 3, and had the fortune of nothing weird happening over the course of 3 races, AND only made $28....

Over time, that's called a loss. Have to capitalize when things actually go your way.


Had I just boxed 1,2,3 and/or used 1,2,3 as A's and 7910 as B's in the race 3 exacta, I'd have invested much better.

Oh well. No negative energy for past mistakes, just learning and living forward.
