individuals like this"

So the guy yelling "and I line my pockets with another 20 thousand" is the head of Monster Racing? If so, I assume the $20k was the purse money his horse just won? In any case, crazy video - wonder who taped it.

Was just going to post the same thing. It is obvious he was referring to the purse of the race. If you think there are bookies in NJ taking $10k bets on a random race at Monmouth, I think you are mistaken.

He probably made the bet offshore. You should listen to the video again he clearly states he fuc*ed the bookies when did a bookie ever pay out a purse?

even if he is busted, nothing will happen

probably checks into some rehab, and probably ride around a horse for 2 days, that will be his rehab..then find a charity, give some money, and it will be publicized..then mix in little " how he overcame adversity story", possible
Ellen show appearance. Then back to winning G1's and G2's.

if the guy is a big sports bettor they might take his action on Navarro horses, something like a loss leader.

Ruling IMO: “Don’t ever let yourself be caught on video admitting the truth again”.

"we are all professionals here" Really Navarro? How professional is your behavior, you need to set the example. The public views you as a cheat, it hasn't been proven and maybe never will but having that perception warrants every negative press you get. Grow the f*ck up and show those who think you are a cheat reasons to say you are a great trainer.

The purse was $27,000 8-4-17 GP race 9 Navarros brother Marciel trained the winner a $30k claimer. The bet by Gindi was made with a bookie, as per the video. It is apparent the stewards saw the video and heard what the owner of Monster racing, Gindi and Navarro were saying and based on this decided to fine the duo. If it was my track they would be gone!

we are just scratching the surface of something else that is wrong with the game yesterday Navarro put out a horse in Parx off the claim. he dropped the horse and the horse went off at 6/5. if he was a live piece he would have been 2/5 judging by the way his other horses get bet.

the people that usually bet Navarro horses more than likely stayed away from that stiff and might have bet something else to the race. but a regular gambler that's not in the know using pace numbers and regular handicapping could easily get trapped on that one.

ultimately the guy that is not in the know with all these top trainers is going to be paying more takeout than the guys that are in the know. throw in a little breakage and the guy that is picking cold has a major problem. this is not taking into consideration what batch bettors and bell bettors can do this guys bankroll.

this is a perfect way to lose customers of the sport. i am gone for now along with a few others that i know.

Getting rid of jail was another thing that was supposed to be good for bettors but really only helps horsemen and gives us more shitty races to bet on.

its amazing how many horse are claimed and dropped now, i guess its a result of the purse structures.

http://www.drf.com/news/indiana-woul...avarro-license

Stewards at Indiana Grand told trainer Jorge Navarro on Tuesday morning he would be denied an Indiana trainer’s license if he applied for one.
