Okay, one of the tracks with the LOWEST avg mutuels has got to be Turf Paradise.
According to BRIS, the stats for some of the currently active meets are:

Average winning odds, low to high:

Turf Paradise 3.75 to 1
Sam Houston 3.88 to 1
Aqueduct 4.25 to 1
Santa Anita 4.55 to 1
Oaklawn 4.78 to 1
Golden Gate 4.82 to 1
Turfway 4.88 to 1
Gulfstream 5.30 to 1
Parx 5.34 to 1
Fair Grounds 5.41 to 1
Delta 5.45 to 1
Tampa 5.67 to 1
Charles Town 6.41 to 1

Lowest favorite winning percentage is Parx at 31% (Santa Anita is 33%); highest is Sam Houston at 48% (Turf Paradise is 46%), others are 36% to 38%

Kudos to Delta officials for doing the right thing.

Guess that will teach em to keep those losing tickets. It's another world down there, you never know what is going to happen.

Would you have the combined winning percentages of the first and second favourites at these tracks.

Unbelievable must have been a mad scramble and a lot of overturned garbage pails. How many ripped up and threw away tickets after the race was over.

I didn't get these from a database, I just looked at the "At a Glance" from February 25th on their site and made a list of the latest stats. So, I can't look that anything up, sorry.

Appreciate the info, Castaway........

There's gotta be a way to profit on the steady stream of $3.00 winners. Thought I had a foolproof method, at one time.

It was foolproof alright--until I started betting it. Suddenly it wasn't so foolproof

Anyhoo...if you've been following this thread lately...you'll recall a recent horse named KINGSLAYER. He has some bewildering stats-- races entered..Stakes to bottom-level claimers -with claims up the wazoo...everything-- except WINS.

He ran this weekend and hell, I don't know what to make of him anymore. He was trounced--showed nothing. He wasn't claimed, but his entrymate CHEDDAR CHUB was. LOL

Now--I get another stable alert TODAY about Kingslayer again. It can't be the same KINGSLAYER..because this one is entered in a qtr horse race in Louisiana. Today.

If there's a Standard-bred with the same name--I'll probably get an alert about him, too . Or a Hong Kong-Oz runner.

Can I call 'em or what??? The KING WINS!! (Okay, it was a qtr horse race--after scratches 2 horse were left) But you did get a sweet $2.20 win payoff!

Thought the humor was obvious--maybe this will help:

"Also, call about our Santa Anita weekend special"

There's also the possibility it just wasn't funny
