Adult underachievement usually means you are not meeting the standards that someone else is using to judge you.
Well, if you're a high (enough) IQ, at some point you say, "I haven't done enough."

Do you remember the bean bag game from kindergarten?

You know... the one where each kid is handed a couple of beanbags to throw through the clowns mouth?

The book says that it is a test.

There are 3 kinds of kids.

** Most kids stand about 5-8 feet away and give it their best shot. Win some, lose some.

** Some kids stand up very close - like 2 feet away, and make sure they never miss.

** A few kids stand like 15 feet away and heave it from the cheap seats.

Most kids are the normal ones. For them, it is just a game, and winning or losing comes naturally, and is taken in stride.

Some kids are afraid to lose, so they must stand up close.

A few kids will be shooting from a long way back because, even at this very young age, they've already learned that it only matters if you do great things. Anything less is a waste of time and energy.

When I read that, I gained a huge understanding about myself.

Hmm. Never thought of that.

But, seriously, folks...

That particular part of the book was an eye opener for me.

See? There are those social issues rearing their ugly heads.

Say, do you suppose that explains The Voices?

BTW, they were left to me by Dick Schmidt when he died. Imagine what it is like walking around with Dick's voices in my head!

I never thought-- in my wildest imagination, that anyone would respond to this (my dope post).

Thanks for playing.

Says allot about the ego in my philosophical opinion.

We'd all like to think we're the smartest and and the best but that's illogical.

You have no respect for my Father which is your worst problem.

If he were still alive you would shut it down.

Why aren't you still a moderator?

Probably because you're a dope?

So it goes beyond that dope.

I'm getting tired, so go ahead and tell me why it's not necessary to show why your stupid moronic sick dope stuff is the best.

That's interesting. I got a 134 by missing four questions in 9:50 total. I was in a rush to get to work and took a two second stab at the last one. That tells me that the questions are not equally weighted.

I was the most intelligent person in my class at all times.

Not sure what that makes me.

I got it from my Father.

The point of this thread is nothing, because no matter how smart I am I don't know everything.
