This whole campaign is going to backfire on you so badly, you're going to literally end up crying your eyes out for years.

I just hope Trump is not fiddling too much with the constitution.
If you mean by obeying it, yes, and the dems even take him to court for doing that. You have no fear of Trump and the constitution - other than it being in effect for the first time in 8 years.

We have many more elitist and authoritarian people in charge here than in Russia. 535 to be exact. Not all to be sure, but many of them would love nothing more than to line their pockets with goodies while denying the unwashed masses the same opportunities. Free health care. Able to make impacts to businesses while owning the stock. No inside trader rules apply. That class of people. The executive branch is full of them too. It's called the "Swamp" for a reason.

BTW, and for the record (I know everybody remembers everything I type these days)....

IF TRUMP IS INDICTED, IMPEACHED OR IMPRISONED, I couldn't care less, except for the fact that Democrats have now set such an incredibly insane precedent, it will certainly come back to bite them in the ass big time, which will make me extremely happy...so I guess I care a little bit. But it's a happy kind of care.

Trump's already done his job and then some. He could go now and I wouldn't bat an eye...especially since Pence would become President.

Trump getting elected didn't bother me. I don't like him and wouldn't vote for him, but I knew he would be disruptive to the political process, which is a plus. For all his faults, of which there are many, I actually think he is good for the country in a weird and twisted way. Sometimes in chess and checkers you have to sacrifice pieces to win the game. I'm not sure how that analogy applies to the Trump admin, but it feels like it should.

Somehow, the country will emerge stronger. Whether you think it is because of him or in spite of him will depend on your political leanings.

I'm an optimist. Everything is going to be fine.

I just sent the link to Mueller, he may want open a special investigation.

I've heard similar Russian influence stories we must nip this in the bud before they try to alter an election or something crazy like that.

‘Dismaying and disturbing’: Ex-GOPer explains Trump and Putin’s ‘convergence of interests’ on destroying NATO

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/07/dis...stroying-nato/

Days after announcing that he’s leaving the GOP, foreign policy analyst Max Boot told CNN that he has significant concerns about President Donald Trump’s escalating attacks on the North Atlantic Treaty Organization — and his cozying up to his Russian counterpart.

“He is definitely weakening the alliance,” Boot told CNN’s Wolf Blitzter Monday. “The question is whether it will survive his presidency or not. Part of that will depend, I think, on how long he stays in office.”

I do think Trump's constant adoration is unsettling though.

Last I checked we weren't in firefights with any members of NATO lately...

You don't find his weird bromance/infatuation thing with Russia at least a tiny bit perplexing?

Trump gets all gooey for authoritative males in high places.
Like they're all in some kind of club, or something.

Less so for women - they seem to unsettle him.
With women he just wants to control those he finds attractive.

Very simplistic, basic, human behavior.
Bordering on knuckle dragger.

That's what got us out of the trees and into houses, cars, and debt.

Most of us, anyway.

Yeah, well, there's not much one can say about that.
