Well, got a run for my money at 40-1 on the
The NYRA Rodeo out of the gate.

Nothing in there impressed me.

Blue Grass - an even worse race than the Wood!
Par for Gr2 3yos in first 3 months of the year is 95.

ran a 97 last year and ran 99 in a sprint.
Nothing else is remotely close.
Bad filed, slow horses.

The only two who look like stakes winners have negatives.
Vekoma couldn't seal the deal against a fast pace collapsing.
Ditto Win Win Win. LAst race probably better than it looks.

I'll take a shot on a price -

Somelikeitbrown - Never ran on dirt, but horse sometimes move ahead substantially poly to dirt, and this one's got two good poly races and a lot of seasoning at distances.
6-1 off a 10-1 ML

SA Race 7

Ocean Fury currently 12-1. Desormeaux has put 3 straight 6 furlong works on this returning Stormy Atlantic colt. Worth a stab here.

Race was way too short and pace way too slow. Not sure he is any good but he had zero shot today once that 23 quarter was hung up.

I noticed and they just mentioned on TV Vekoma's front legs coming down the stretch. Kind of wild. May not mean anything just looked painful to me.

4th, unless dropped due to blocking the #3. Was no threat for winner. Sharpening machetes!
