Brisnet Race Summary Question

At the bottom of the Brisnet pps is a race summary. Under the Run Style category we have E, EP, P, and S. Sometimes these letters have one or two plus signs in front of them. I am assuming that a plus sign is better than no plus sign. I have searched Brisnet for clarification. I have found none. Does anybody know specifically what these plus signs mean?
