Looking forward to another fun winter-long contest.
I submitted my first ticket using prescribed format earlier this morning. It is funny to see all the variations that folks can create.
One housekeeping question -- I hope that we may safely assume that when I type '1' and it is an entry that I don't have to type '1A'.

Personally, I am yelling for #6 in AQU Race 5. I am alive to ALL in this leg as possibly some other players are as well. $994.50 has nice sound to it for Day 1 of contest!
How are you doing?

QUESTION?
my ? is ....is it better to play the late pic4 because of the $250,000
guarantee...? does it pay better than the early...

the late pick 4 is almost always above $250,000. However, the guarantee would attract some bettors - thus I would predict that late pick 4 generally pays higher.
However, today with a 4 and 5 horse field in 2 of the legs this is not likely.
The early P4 paid $91.50 for a deuce.
good luck

Shazzam! Early P4 today pays $2,682.50 for $1
Congratulations to cdax and Bobzilla who had each had it for that amount!
Wait for it, wait for it, YES, I had it for $3, or $8,047.50. My absolute best hit ever in this contest.
Two-day total = $8,274.00

Thanks all for kind words! Unless someone clobbers late Pick 4, I will top leaderboard for first time ever.
This contest really helps one learn how to build multi-race tickets. I must plug DRF TicketMaker as excellent tool, too. My redboard lament is that I didn't make #10 in 3rd leg an 'A'.
Final lament, I didn't have it 'real time' as I home dogsitting on this rainy afternoon in Louisiana!
