Missing fractions (e.g., Canterbury Park)

Been following Canterbury this season and have noticed that there have been quite a few missing fractional lines for the races. Anecdotally, it seems like this is particularly true for turf races (both routes and sprints).

Does anyone know why this might happen and whether there is any solution other than watching and hand timing the races to retrieve these missing fractions (e.g., reaching out to Equibase or the track)?

Appreciate any insights you might have if you've run into this before.

Thanks!

It is apparent that there is a pandemic of incompetence at most race tracks theses days. Why would they worry about times, it is only racing.

Kudos to Canterbury - at least THEY let you KNOW when they are totally incompetent - SOME tracks just post BS numbers and ignore it - and the handicapper or program is left to use garbage data.

Why would any reputable race track give a shit about it's customers and provide accurate data? It cost $$$ to do it right.

My suggestion to everyone - STOP playing S***hole tracks like Canterbury - hit them where it hurts.

There are lot of track out there - no one should support ANY track that doesn't support it's customers.
