NYC proving Dems and libs work as intended

https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/loca...-high/2483376/

Quote:
New York City’s homicide rate has hit a five-year high as the amount of people shot has jumped 42 percent compared to last year on the heels of an “implosion” of the city’s judicial system, according to NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea.

A perfect storm of COVID-19 shutdowns within the judicial system (which have shunted indictments against the most dangerous illegal gun criminals), a breakdown in the city’s social safety nets (which has prisoners being released from jail straight into homelessness), and bail reform laws and case deferments have all hindered the NYPD’s efforts to staunch the bleeding, Shea believes.

"We cannot keep people safe without keeping bad, dangerous, people off the streets,” Shea said. "You have a criminal justice system that's imploding. That’s the kindest way to put it.”

Those of you on the left may feel satisfied with the anarchy but remember that whirlwinds are fickle and like musical chairs, no one knows who will lose the most in the end.

Just a temporary bump in the long road to recovery.

Some people are saying 2023 or so.

Rome wasn’t built in a day.

People who want things to return to normal right away are wearing rose colored glasses. (Along with no masks)

I walk the streets on NYC on a daily basis.

So I know Exactly what is going on in the city.

Your people are asking to defund the police, you have totally avoided that issue.

Defund the police. Lol. I am for the police doing their job in a proper manner.

That doesn’t include killing a person with a knee to neck.

You're still avoiding the question. Which Party is for defunding the police? You have at least heard about that movement? To your people police are so racist it is inevitable that they will kill as Chauvin did. Ergo get rid of them.

Maybe if you'd try different streets. Your governor and mayor have performed like clueless jackasses. Perhaps you could help out and give them advise.
Personally, I don't think NYC will ever be the same. So prove me wrong.

The silence is deafening when it comes to rioting, looting, burning and statue destruction by the Democrat politicians, not a peep out of the so called leaders Biden, Pelosi, Schumer et al. They dont want to discourage their base.
