Owners allowed on track - deep pockets!

Absolutely agree, Tom. It gave a different perspective of activities going in and coming out of the turns of the races.

They are showing up in all sports. I like it. Saw a drone in a lacrosse match the other day

Great views. So many possibilities using a drone. A little creative thinking and you have a nice feature to show on TV. Especially a track like Saratoga, and a city like that.

If a horse wins at the track, and there is nobody there to see it, do you still collect on your wagers?

Saratoga Springs, NY
@saratogaNOW
In the last 2 weeks there’s been food service workers at 5 Points Deli, Scallions, and Burger King who’ve tested positive for COVID19. I’ve also heard of a transmission at Prime. Has anyone heard of any other cases in the Saratoga Springs/Wilton area? #COVID19 #saratoga

The daily positive test data looks fine, but if you are in Saratoga a report like above means it's probably prudent to be careful.

It's prudent to be careful everywhere...especially if you fall into a higher risk category.

It's especially prudent in Marion County, FL if you're high risk and happen to have to interact with any law enforcement personnel from the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Our soon to be ex-sheriff has ordered all deputies and other individuals under his jurisdiction to NOT WEAR MASKS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES in encounters with the public.

I'll be staying on the 3 acres and betting on-line.

I know there have been some of the inconsistent recommendations from the medical community about the usefulness of masks. I also understand the resistance some people have to government mandates. But this is at least one step beyond lunacy to mandate not wearing masks.

I would have to think it's more about making the face visible "in encounters with the public" so that there's less chance of misinterpreting the officers' meaning or intent; a safety feature, ironically.

This is a BS cover story for an obviously political statement on the part of the MCSO. The public outcry down here will prevail, and there'll be a new sheriff in town soon.

So the sheriff didn't like his/her job? Weird...

All politics is local, especially down here. He has to please the "good ol' boys" who run things in these parts. Tension between the Mayor (city) and the Commissioners (County). I'm not in the city.

Siros has been closed indefinitely

So much for hanging out there and betting from your laptop.

Restaurant closed until further notice for failure to provide the city with the proper food and drink license
